Hello all, our leaves are falling - so yellow and red and gold and grey and orange along our streets. Warm October is giving way to a more seasonal and cool landscape. I do love it. And I love to play music at this time of year! If you live in western MA come out to PACE in Easthampton this weekend. And if you're in the Boston area mark you calendars for three Tuesdays in November when I'll be playing at the Lizard with my friend, the sublime songstress Rose Polenzani.
10/28 Easthampton, MA P.A.C.E. w/Emily Green opening
11/14 Tuesday residency at the Lizard Lounge w/Rose Polenzani, 8:30pm, $7
11/21 Tuesday Lizard res.
11/28 Tuesday Lizard res.
Thanks to all of you who went to the trouble of voting for me in the Boston Music Awards! It's always nice to win - but surely bizarre to attend those ceremonial events. This year was no different. I didn't win, but I did get to present an award to my friend, producer-guitarist extraordinaire, Duke Levine for something like "Best Unsung Hero." Duke was off performing with Aimee Mann so Peter Wolf accepted the award on his behalf, giving the crowd a little taste of the woofa goofa man...
It's good to live here.
See you soon,
Jennifer
